Objective

The objective of this unit is to demonstrate the basic navigation features of Chargemaster Toolkit common to all users regardless of individual user permissions.

At the end of this unit you should be able to:

1. Open and close the Toolkit.
2. Check-out and Check-in GLs/Departments for use in the Toolkit.
3. Understand the standard layout of the Toolkit window
4. Customize your view.
5. Understand what is found on each of the Tabs.
6. Use the Active Code Book and Active Info Window tools.
7. Navigate through the Menu options and Menu Short Cuts.
8. Locate specific charge items or groups of related charge items within the Toolkit.
9. Follow a charge item as it moves between audit tabs during editing.
10. Review and interpret the audit trail history of a charge item in the Toolkit.
11. Locate user guide, Training Events Center and pre-recorded tutorials for more training.
12. Know how to request support from the Craneware team.
