Interface Scripting Module
The Interface Scripting Module allows automatic updating of a financial
system with the changes that have been made to your CDM within Active
Chargemaster. The module will export additional, modified and deactivated
charge items. If the change is successful then the charge item's audit
trail records the action. A failed export will also be recorded in the
audit trail.
A report is displayed upon successful completion of a script and archived.
To run the module select Modules > Interface
Scripting. The Interface Scripting dialog will open. This displays
list of previously created scripts. These are created and maintained by Craneware.
To execute a script select it from the list and click the Run
Script button.
If you click the Advanced button you can specify some actions
before executing the scripts.
Filters
This allows you to specify a date range that you want to export changes
from. This can be a from/to date or since the last successful export.
Select Tabs
Here you can select which tabs the export will come from.
Financial System Mode
There are two modes that you can execute the script in. Live mode interfaces
to the live system and will use the live data base for that system. Test
mode uses a test data base and will not impact the live system. This is
used to verify the integrity of the export scripts.
Error Recovery
If a script fails to complete then this will allow you to continue the
script from the point that it failed.
Batch Scripts
Selecting this button will allow you to
select a number of scripts to execute in specific order. You can also
schedule the scripts to run at a particular date. This feature requires
that the software is left running on a machine.
Interface Scripting Configuration
Files
These files are required to configure the
module. They are setup by our scripting team. If these are not present
a message will inform you and ask you to contact
support.
