- Open the Options
window and select the Fee Schedule tab.
- Choose your state from the drop-down menu in the
DME Informationarea.
- Under Filter Configuration in the Active Info window,
select one of the filter options to choose which type of charge item you
want to review.
The charge items shown
in the main window are filtered appropriately. A green tick on a tab means
that it contains items that match the filter.
- Select a charge item. The
Informationarea is updated to show
details of the current published DME fee rate for the current charge item
(a red highlight indicates that your rate is less than the published DME
rate). The Charge Impactarea is
updated to show the impact of the difference between the published rate
and your facility's rate. Impact is calculated by multiplying the rate
difference by the charge item's current volume.
You can scroll
through all the charge items shown, reviewing fee details and impact for
each one, and if required, modifying your facility's charge for each as
appropriate. The 'Use' button will change your charge value to that of
the DME payment rate.
- When finished, select a new
filter option, or choose No Filter.
