In addition to presenting in conference sessions, Craneware will celebrate 10 years of innovation in delivering solutions that improve the financial performance of healthcare organizations.

On Monday, June 15, Sandy Rasmussen, vice president of operations at Craneware, will participate in the session, “Pricing Using Target Setting and Benchmarking.” She will join Mike Reppart, Director, Business Services, Hendrick Medical Center; and Jonnetta Selvidge, RN, Director, Revenue Integrity, St. John Medical Center. Together, they will provide the practical steps to consider when setting pricing levels, evaluating mark-up formulas, developing a pricing database, and applying pricing benchmarks. The session will also offer a sample list of five price-sensitive service lines.
On Tuesday, June 16, Kelley Blair, senior consultant at Craneware, will co-present “Leveraging Electronic Tools for Effective Accountability in the
CDM Maintenance Process.” Blair will join Debbie Flaska,
CDM and Coding Manager, Trinity Health. During this session the presenters will deliver a method for optimizing organizational reimbursement and compliance using an automated chargemaster management process. Attendees will take away ideas for creating new charge description master (CDM) maintenance policies and procedures.
